Cambered Bench Press Bar
The cambered bench press bar is a great way to add extra range of movement to bench press and rowing movements as opposed to a straight bar which is limited as soon as it reaches your torso.
Cambered bench press bar. This is a good variation to improve strength at the start of your press. We do have chrome available. Usually about 3 4 inches.
There is more strtetch so it must be done with less weight as your hands go much lower than usual. The cambered bar bench press on the other hand is a very good exercise for the delts. Because most raw lifters are weakest in the low to mid range of the bench press this bar is great for developing that area.
The bar is a black oxide covering. It also makes the load more unstable hence tougher to control and press off of the chest. Wide grip cambered bar overhead press.
The cambered bench press is done like a regular bench press except done with a bar with a camber that allows for a greater and deeper range of motion. Cambered bar bench presses are less effective for the chest muscles and triceps than standard bar bench pressrd. Again it is your regular overhead press but with a slightly wider grip anywhere from 1 per side wider than normal up to a snatch grip.
The cambered bench bar allows the lifter to use a greater range of motion allowing the hands to go about an inch or two deeper than with a straight bar.
